Transcription: Sonar 4 provides a very powerful MIDI feature set that makes for a flexible MIDI recording and editing environment. We'll take a closer look at MIDI recording in this movie tutorial. Just like with audio recording, there are two primary record modes for recording MIDI. The first, Sound on Sound, allows us to record new MIDI data directly on top of existing MIDI data on a particular track. This can be useful if we've just finished recording MIDI MIDI synth part, and we decide to add one or two more notes to an existing chord without having to create a new track.
